Fine Art Anthology The Nude Male-21st Century Visions by David Leddick,

"Boldly impressionist and highly charged with color, David Barnett is the 21st century's connection back to artists of the turn of the last century like Renoir. The human form is his subject but he finds shapes and colors there through his artist's eye that reveal to us things not seen or noticed before."

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Architecture and practiced design for many years. I've always rendered drawings and painted.

I started painting pets after adopting an adorable rescue dog. She was a 6 month old 20 pound Chihuahua Mix. I named her Karma.  6 months later she weighed in at 40 pounds and looked much more like an American Dingo. My acrylic painting of Karma was so successful that friends and relatives asked me to depict their pets on canvas. I thoroughly enjoy painting pets and hope you enjoy them also.

Please visit www.DavidBarnettArt.com to view other subjects I've painted. These include landscapes, portraits and figures. I continue to practice interior design and invite you to see my work at www.DavidBarnettDesign.com
